PageUp’s security consultants have confirmed that they have not identified any further threats and that PageUp is safe to use. Based on the outcome of that investigation and additional security improvements by PageUp to guard against similar incidents in the future, UQ is satisfied with the security of the system and has reinstated access to UQ Jobs.

As a safety measure, UQ requested a reset of all user passwords. In order to protect your personal account details, the next time you login to UQ Jobs, you will be prompted to set a new password. As good practice, UQ recommends that you do not re-use passwords, or use the same password across multiple systems.

UQ Human Resources is responsible for enabling achievement of the University's strategic ambitions through attracting, developing, and retaining talented, engaged, and high performing staff. This, in turn, enables University staff to better support our current and future students. Human Resources provides high quality resource management guidance and expertise, through effective policy development, constructive advice and efficient administrative services. We are building a team of strategic HR professionals to provide outstanding, client focused, proactive and effective solutions and services for all UQ staff.

The role

The Manager, Recruitment Services is accountable for the effective delivery of a recruitment function to support the needs of the University.

As a member of the HR Functional Leadership Team, the role is primarily responsible for the overall management and best practice of recruitment services for the University. The role will be required to explore and propose innovative technology based recruitment solutions that are competitive and fit for purpose for the University of Queensland that are aligned to the recruitment strategy.

The role will be responsible for the management of a team of recruitment specialists to ensure the timely, effective, and high quality provision of recruitment advice and services to clients.

The person

Applicants should possess postgraduate qualifications in HR, Business or a related field with relevant experience in recruitment management and/or equivalent combination of relevant training and professional experience.

The applicant will have proven strategic recruitment management, planning and analysis skills with experience managing the end to end delivery of strategic recruitment and operational services to clients.

Applicants should have exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.

Experience in managing a recruitment service in a large organisation including the application of recruitment technology and implementing best practice initiatives is desired.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

This is a full time continuing appointment at HEW Level 9. The total package will be in the range $127,307 - $134,718 p.a., including employer superannuation contributions of up to 17%.
