PageUp’s security consultants have confirmed that they have not identified any further threats and that PageUp is safe to use. Based on the outcome of that investigation and additional security improvements by PageUp to guard against similar incidents in the future, UQ is satisfied with the security of the system and has reinstated access to UQ Jobs.

As a safety measure, UQ requested a reset of all user passwords. In order to protect your personal account details, the next time you login to UQ Jobs, you will be prompted to set a new password. As good practice, UQ recommends that you do not re-use passwords, or use the same password across multiple systems.

The key specialist service areas of Finance are:

  • Corporate Finance
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Procurement
  • Financial Operations including Accounts Payable, Collections and Receivables, and Client Support Services
  • Professional Services teams - Advisory and Transactional Services

Finance at UQ operates within a devolved environment with Finance staff located in Professional Services teams in Faculties, Research Institutes and Central Divisions supported by Finance specialist service teams.  The position is part of the Accounts Payable processing stream within the Financial Operations team for Finance.

The role

The Accounts Payable Data Entry Officer’s main responsibility is to enter data into the University’s Accounts Payable system in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, in preparation of vendor payments.

The person

Applicants should possess year 12 qualifications combined with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training along with well-developed keyboard skills with a sound level of proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.  The ability to maintain effective working relationships across a large and complex client portfolio while demonstrating analytical and problem solving skills in routine administration are essential to successfully applying for this role.


This is a full-time continuing appointment at HEW Level 3. The remuneration package will be in the range $52,292 - $58,050 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $61,181 - $67,919 p.a.).
